<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Behavioral Health <br />Nurse 2 (Nursing <br />Class Code: <br />Services Coordinator) <br />558 <br />Bargaining Unit: 04 - Oregon Nurses Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$34.60 - $44.13 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Non-Exempt02 ProfessionalsHealth <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Responsible for coordination of nursing services for identified Behavioral Health programs; serves as <br />liaison and coordinator for the nursing staff consisting of RN's and LPN's; provides lead direction for <br />Nursing Services, including coordination of the work assignments, quality assurance and problem solving. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general supervision of the Health Clinical Supervisor 2 or Medical Director, who assigns <br />duties, establishes goals and reviews results. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Provides lead direction and coordinates activities of nursing positions. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Serves as liaison and coordinator for the nursing staff. <br />2.Monitors professional practice and program activities to assure compliance with agency policies, <br />Federal regulations and State Administrative Rules. <br />3.Oversees nursing services, including work assignments, quality assurance, problem solving and <br />continuity of service. <br />4.Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team in the evaluation of consumers' <br />behavioral health needs, development of treatment plans, and the delivery of services. <br />5.Provides consultation, education and training to staff and other service providers in the areas of <br />medication management and healthcare.Provides education to the public.Provides nursing <br />services orientation to new staff <br />6.Interfaces with staff from pharmacies, residential facilities, private medical providers, and <br />laboratories to facilitate provision of ancillary services. <br />7.Administers medications under the direction of a licensed medical practitioner. <br />8.Keeps medical staff and case management staff apprised of clients needing regular medical care <br />or follow-up with a community medical provider and makes referrals as needed. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
