<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Grant/Contracts <br />Compliance Analyst <br />Class Code: <br />315 <br />Bargaining Unit: 13 - Non-Supervisory <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$2,420.80 - $3,240.00 Biweekly <br />$5,245.07 - $7,020.00 Monthly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Exempt02 ProfessionalsFinance <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Provides technical expertise and coordinates the planning, development, oversight, and implementation <br />of grant and contracting policy, practice, and process countywide. Ensures that the county's grants and <br />contracts comply with state and federal law, and established county rules, policies and <br />procedures. Provides related support to county departments and the Board of Commissioners <br />Office. Performs other related duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, who establishes goals and reviews <br />results for conformance to department standards and legal requirements. Receives technical guidance <br />and direction from the Contracts and Procurement Manager. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. Incumbent <br />provides technical direction to county employees for grants and contracting and may provide lead duties <br />over administrative and professional staff for specific projects. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Works with Risk, Legal, and/or the Board to minimize the county's liability exposure by ensuring <br />the county's grants and contracts meet legal, statutory, policy and procedural compliance.Primarily <br />responsible for the review of all grant related processes, policies and documents. <br />2.Monitors, analyzes, reviews, and recommends action on proposed and approved legislation and <br />regulations related to grants and contracting to determine their impact on the organization; makes <br />recommendations for change in grants or contracts policy and procedures as appropriate to <br />ensure legal compliance. <br />3.Researches, drafts, and makes recommendations for new and updated administrative procedures, <br />policy, standardized documents, and business process improvement ensuring that they are in <br />alignment with Marion County Public Contracting Rules, Federal Law, Oregon Revised Statutes, <br />Oregon Administrative Rules, and County Administrative Policy.Collaborates with management <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
