Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Keeping records and writing reports. <br />◦ <br />Performs anthropometric measurements and other health screenings to determine <br />◦ <br />client eligibility. <br />May give consultation to day nurseries, Head Start, CFRP, and other cooperating programs <br />6. <br />regarding adequate nutrition and food service. <br />Provides assistance to teachers in developing nutrition programs and integrating nutrition into <br />7. <br />the public school program. <br />Develops and prepares agency nutrition records and reports. <br />8. <br />Utilizes Windows-based software applications, including Word, Excel and TWIST (State WIC <br />9. <br />database). <br />Provides breast pumps and related education in WIC setting and in non-WIC retail sales and <br />10. <br />rental settings. <br />Works with ECN nurses and other Health and Human Services staff to integrate services. <br />11. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in foods and nutrition; <br />AND <br />2.Registered dietitian (credentialed) or RD eligible; OR <br />3.Master's degree in nutrition; OR <br />4.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience directly relevant <br />to the position. <br />5.One (1) year experience as practicing registered dietitian is preferred. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess a current driver's license in the applicant's state of residence and an acceptable <br />> <br />driving history.
