<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Health Resources <br />Coordinator <br />Class Code: <br />158 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$17.82 - $23.85 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br /> Non-Exempt 05 ParaprofessionalsHealth and Human <br />Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Assists persons served in accessing medications from pharmacies when persons served <br />cannot access the pharmacy. Acts as an advocate on behalf of persons served with insurers, <br />laboratories and other outside health care entities both in writing and verbally. In partnership <br />with prescribers, nurses and case managers, prepares formal documents for submission to <br />insurers for prior authorizations for medications. Performs appropriate Electronic Health <br />Record (EHR) entry, interprets and transfers data from a variety of documents into EHR <br />format, examines data for completeness and accuracy while correcting errors. Performs other <br />duties as assigned. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general direction of a health services professional or supervisor, who <br />assigns work, establishes goals and reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Reviews prescriber orders to ensure that EHR records are accurate and complete; <br />coordinates services with prescribers and pharmacies. <br />2.Provides services in support of behavioral health treatment goals; provides information <br />and referrals to nursing staff and prescribers, processes prior authorizations for <br />medications; performs basic chart audits to assist in determining the needs of persons <br />served prior to their appointments with prescribers up to and including current <br />laboratory results, Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) tests and standing <br />orders. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecI...11/23/2020 <br /> <br />
