PAGE 4 <br /> <br />17. DRAG STRUT. Provide the strapping and connections <br />as per engineering for drag strut through open area of <br />Living room and master bedroom to new 8'-0" wide <br />shearwall. <br /> <br />18. DECK. A building permit is required for the new <br />deck framed with existing materials if more than 30" <br />above grade. No plans or construction details noting <br />materials used or the construction design of the deck <br />were submitted with this review. APPLY FOR THE BUILDING <br />PERMIT FOR THE DECK BY AUGUST 1, 1998 TO MAINTAIN THIS <br />PERMIT AND INSPECTIONS OR THIS PERMIT IS NOT VALID. <br /> <br />19. SEPTIC TANK. The deck framing shall not impose <br />loads onto or within 5 feet of the septic tank. A <br />readily accessible access shall be provided for service <br />and maintainance of the septic tank. <br /> <br />20. NEW ROOF FRAMING. No new roof framing or loads can <br />be transferred to the existing built-up plywood beams of <br />the manufactured home. The new 5 1/8"x18" 24F-V4 glulam <br />shall bear on a 5 1/8"x15" 24F-V4 glulam installed at the <br />marriage line adjacent to the remaining two built-up <br />plywood ridge beams of the manufactured home. <br /> <br />21. EXISTING BUILT-UP PLYWOOD RIDGE BEAMS: Both built-up <br />plywood ridge beams have to be retained to maintain the <br />integrity of the original engineered roof design for the <br />manufactured home per information supplied to us by the <br />State of Oregon, Building Codes Division who regulates <br />the manufacture of manufactured homes in the State of <br />Oregon in accordance with the federal standards and <br />DAPHIA approvals. Or, the applicant can have a complete <br />structural analysis for the existing framing and <br />alterations of the entire structure submitted for review <br />by Marion County Building Inspection. <br /> <br />22. EXISTING SUPPORT COLUMNS. The interior support <br />columns in the existing manufactured home have to be <br />retained or a complete structural analysis for the entire <br />structure will be required for submittal and review by <br />Marion County Building Inspection. There are two support <br />columns in the closet of the master bedroom which need to <br />remain. They are on either side of the door to the <br />closet of the master bedroom in the existing manufactured <br />home and will be in the interior of the closet after the <br />proposed alterations are made. <br /> <br /> <br />
