Status of Architect Contract <br />John Whittington noted the Federal Transit <br />Administration (FTA) is almost finished reviewing the <br />contract for form. After they finish Salem Area Transit can <br />then issue the contract. <br />a. In a meeting earlier today the architect <br />agreed to define hard costs of the project the same <br />as price . The FTA wanted to see the word price in all <br />of the agreements and the definition of hard cost will <br />satisfy their requirement. <br />2. Streetscape Meeting with City of Salem <br />Mr. Whittington noted a meeting was held with himself <br />and Leonard Lodder, Craig Lewis, and Billy Wasson, with Bob <br />Wells and Dick Hayden from the City of Salem. The <br />streetscape funding will be lined up on an intergovernmental <br />agreement based on a list of projects and costs from the <br />design phase. City of Salem staff is still talking about $2 <br />million but the City Council has not agreed on a specific <br />
