_~ Marion County Facilities Master Plan
~ in size. Conditions vary, but generally are in moderate condition.
-~ Floors The basement is floored in vinyl composition tile, which is in good to
moderaYe condition. The remaining floors are carpeted with dense ]oop pile.
All carpeting dates from the 1973 renovation and is showing signs of wear.
~ Office spaces aze showing similar degrees of wear, although not as bad as
_. comdor spaces. Carpeting will need replacement in near future.
-~ Finishes In general, interior design of facility is of private office use. Finishes are
durable and utilitarian in nature, there is no noticeable interior design theme.
Finishes are showing signs of normal wear and tear, but have been well
~ maintained.
Furnishings Fumishings are generally daYed but in good condition and may not be the best
~ ergonomic conSguration. Ergonomics may be the primary reason for
- - replacement.
~ Toilet Rooms Toilet rooms are showing signs of normal wear and tear, but have been well
maintained. Public accommodations epst on the fifth floor, consequently
~ modifications have been made to the fifth floor toilet rooms to meet ADA
requirements: Fixtures may need replacement in near future, but are adequate
- at this time.
~ Signage There is very little internal signage or way finding. Concepts for long range
planning should limit public access beyond public areas; therefore not require
-~ extensive signage. The fiRh floor, however, will require new and additional
signage to meet ADA requirements.
~ Artwork Thereis little, if any, notable artwork The addition of aztwork and an interior
color scheme could have a positive impact on visitors and users.
7 CIRCULATION
-~ Stairwell Stairwells are in good condition; howevu, they do not meet current width and
railing requirements. Aside from code issues, all stairwells still function
adequately.
l Elevator Two elevators were installed in the 1973 renovation. Operation is controlled
~
Page 77
.J
