We also <br />have two marine patrol officers. In total we have 172 volunteers. <br />We also have VOICE ( Volunteer Observers I ana t Ho~ aY~You7y <br />Effort), SALT (Seniors and Lawmen Together), <br />which is a computerized telephone program that makes daily contact <br />with senior citizens. We have contracts with U.S. Forest Service <br />($25,000 a year), which patrols the North Fork and Canyon (which is <br />performed off-duty), St. Paul Rodeo, and Department of Justice <br />(raarijuana). In the Main Office we have Records, Evidence, Court <br />Services, Civil, and Administration. We have three outlying <br />substations, North District Office (Woodburn), Central District <br />Office (East Salem), and South District Office (Stayton). Central <br />is bigger as far as manpower; the other two districts are about the <br />same size.
