Volunteers are used. This summer, SPD will have 12 interns going door to door with crime prevention information in the Northqate area which is the area we are in right now. Lt. Rogers stated that all three agencies could combine their SALT, crime prevention, etc. If a citizen needs an officer, they don't care what color the uniform is.
