FACILITY STEERING COMMITTEE June 24, 1994 _ PRESENT: Ken Sherman, Ruth Johnson, Randy Curtis, Starr Garland, Bob McCune, Valerie Vollmar, Ann Gavin-Sample, Dale Penn, Maynard Hammer, R.G. SUB COMMITTEE WORK PLAN: The deadline for work plans to be submitted to Bob McCune was June 15, 1994. To date Bob has only received two, one from Corrections and one from Health. The remaining sub committees will need to get their work plans to him as soon as possible. SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS: Sub committee need to keep in mind that they will have to be able to justify their.recommendations. Corrections: This sub committee has had two meetings and are meeting again on July 6th. They have invited the Tri-Agency committee to this meeting. They plan on having a report to the steering committee by the end of August. Health: This sub committee has had several meetings and have looked at individual health services and population based services. They have approved their charter and work plan. They are looking at the future of the Health department in relation to the Oregon Health Plan. They toured the Health department at 3180 Center St.at their May 31st meet- ing. On June 28th they will be touring Developmental Disabilities office located on Chemeketa St. and 13th St.. They~ will also be touring the Children's Mental Health office located on 13th St. and the Adolescent Mental Health office located on State St.. The three offices located at Chemeketa, 13th and State St. are not owned by the County. They will
