There are a J considerable number of ineters in the Boiler Room, the only active meters are J A detailed review of the two services is required to determine the relative ]ocations, electrically, of all active meters. ~ The single story building at the northeast corner of the building complex has a seoarate service cormection. 1 Electrical •~l Distribution System Branch circuit panelboards throughout the office portion of the building appear adequate for the present occupancy. Panelboards in the office wing 1 south stair date back to the original construction. Few if any spare circuit breakers are available. ] The branch circuit panelboards in the apartment wing are at the end oftheir useful service life. Changes in occupancy will require replacement of J panelboards and upgrading feeders. Lighting Lighting in the typical office wing is recessed fluorescent luminairs. ~ Occupancy sensors have been installed in conference rooms. Lighting in the apartment wing is a combination of fluorescent in some areas ~ of corridor system and incandescent in the apartments. Most luininairs are aging and represent opportunities for energy savings and lighting improvement. ~ Lobby lighting ai the first floor is provided by R-lamp downlights and surface fluorescent wraparound luminairs. ~ Signal Systems Fiber optic data and copper wire telephone cables enter the basement under the apartment wing at the southeast comer. Data and telephone cabling ~ originate at the courthouse and cross beneath Court Street. Fire alazm system control panel is located on south wall of lobby. 1 Manufacturer, Pyrotronics, System 3.
