J <br />_~ <br />~ Marion County Facilities Master Plan <br />~ originalty a l20/240V-1 phase system. It appears this service is now backfed <br />from a 600A-2 pole breaker in the 208Y/120V service. There are a <br />J considerable number of ineters in the Boiler Room, the only active meters are <br />J A detailed review of the two services is required to determine the relative <br />]ocations, electrically, of all active meters. <br />~ The single story building at the northeast corner of the building complex has <br />a seoarate service cormection. <br />1 Electrical <br />•~l Distribution System Branch circuit panelboards throughout the office portion of the building <br />appear adequate for the present occupancy. Panelboards in the office wing <br />1 south stair date back to the original construction. Few if any spare circuit <br />breakers are available. <br />] The branch circuit panelboards in the apartment wing are at the end oftheir <br />useful service life. Changes in occupancy will require replacement of <br />J panelboards and upgrading feeders. <br />Lighting Lighting in the typical office wing is recessed fluorescent luminairs. <br />~ Occupancy sensors have been installed in conference rooms. <br />Lighting in the apartment wing is a combination of fluorescent in some areas <br />~ of corridor system and incandescent in the apartments. Most luininairs are <br />aging and represent opportunities for energy savings and lighting <br />improvement. <br />~ Lobby lighting ai the first floor is provided by R-lamp downlights and surface <br />fluorescent wraparound luminairs. <br />~ Signal Systems Fiber optic data and copper wire telephone cables enter the basement under <br />the apartment wing at the southeast comer. Data and telephone cabling <br />~ originate at the courthouse and cross beneath Court Street. <br />Fire alazm system control panel is located on south wall of lobby. <br />1 Manufacturer, Pyrotronics, System 3. System is zoned by floor with separate <br />zone for fire sprinkler system. The alarm signaling devices do not comply <br />~ <br />~ Page 73 <br />for business tenants located at street level <br />
