Requestcd that Council grant a three-yeaz moratorium on moving the curz~ent traasit <br />facility from its High Street location~. <br />FACTS ANp FINd~iNGS: <br />4~-e~r the past six months, the Sale~ori, A,rea Transit bistxict has been studyimg the feasibility of <br />relocaiing the dawtitown brat~sit mall from its current site on High Street to a perraanent off.- <br />street location. Of the 14 sites originally identified, 3 sites were ultimately identzfied for <br />futther study: Grreyhound b1oc~C, Senator block, and W~shington Mutual block. The Senator . <br />Block was ultimately selected by the STD Board of Directors and the Cowrthouse Square <br />concept deveIoped.
