From: LEW GARRISON
To: GWM2.M-EDISON(RCURTIS)
Date: 3/19/97 9:06am
subject: Senator demolition/staging -Reply
1) Construction/Maintenance parking permits will be required to occupy
the parking lanes. I don't see any problems with taking all the parking
around the block on the Senator block side. This permit is issued at our
PAC counter on the third floor. If the contractor wants to close any
lanes around the block, a lane closure permit is needed. This is issued
from our office in Rm 325 and is specific as to time and date, required
signing, etc. The sidewalk closure around the block is also issued form
our office and I don't anticipate any problem with full closure of the
surrounding sidewalks with proper signing, if possible we would like to
keep the corners open, but if not we can deal with it.
2) Fee, you're in luck, its at no fee for government bodies.
CC: pfernandez,thockett,kbartruff
