SAMTD/Marion Co. RFI/RFQ#00-08 7 <br />Private Development of Courthouse Square North Block <br />5. RESPONSE REVIEW <br />a. Opening of Responses. Responses will not be publicly opened, but the identity <br />of each Respondent will be publicly announced. Ali other information in each <br />Response will be kept confidential to the fullest extent pennitted by Oregon law, <br />during the review and evaluation process prior to decision on qualified firms. Only <br />the members of the Review Committee and other Procuring Agency officials, <br />empioyees and agents having a tegitimate interest will be provided access to the <br />proposals and evaluation results during this period. <br />b. Review Committee. The Review Committee will be established by the Procuring <br />Agency, and may include the members of the County and Transit Boards, <br />Courthouse Square project managers, and/or their designees. The Committee will <br />make all decisions regarding the determination of qualified Respondents, if any, <br />that may be recommended to the transit and County policy Boards for proceeding <br />to the RFP stage. <br />c. Evaluation. An evaluation will be made by the Review Committee to judge the <br />merit of the responses to this RFURFQ. All respondents wishing to be considered <br />for the qualification process and be included in the distribution of an eventual <br />RFP, must include in their ~esponse ali the qual~cation requirements as outlined <br />in Section 4 above. The Review Committee, based on its sole judgment, will <br />determine which respondents are qualified and fuliy able and capable of <br />successfully completing a project of the nature and scope likely to be <br />contemplated for the RFP. Additional qualfication criteria may be employed <br />during the RFP phase of this process. <br />6. SCHEDULE <br />The oreliminaN schedule for the review of information and qualifications, and subsequent <br />RFP process, is as follows: <br />Item Target Date <br />1. Non-Mandatory Pre-response meeting July 20, 2000 <br />2. Ciosing date for RFURFQ August 21, 2000 <br />3. Board and staff review/selection of qualfied firms Aug. 21-31, 2000 <br />4. Issuance of Request for Proposals September 28, 2000 <br />5. Proposals to RFP due at Transit offices December 4, 2000 <br />6. Interviews of Finalists January 4-11, 2001 <br />7. Selection by County/Transit Boards by January 31, 2001 <br />7. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS RFI/RFQ <br />a. All facts and opinions stated within this RFI/RFQ, and all supporting documents <br />and data, are based on infoRnation available from a variety of sources. No <br />representation or warcanty is made with respect thereto. <br />b. Every Respondent that submits a response shall be notified of its qual'fication <br />status. A Respondent who claims to have been adversely affected or aggrieved <br />by the qualification process shall have seven (7) calendar days after receiving <br />
