The pmjeci is a
commercial bailding surrounding and parCty spanning over a bus transfer mall to be tocated in
Salem, Oregon. The tasks of this pcoject are understood to ittvolve evaluating the isolation
and reCOmmending modifications for control of 1) bus noise from mall to the interior building
spaces, and 2) bus vibration from thc bus matl to the general building sttucture.
The foltowing tasks are cxpected,
A. SCOPE OF WORY~
1. Design
1.1 Soutee S und Measurement
For the most accurace analysis. sound Icvel measurements of the bus noise should be
made_ In that the sound isolating characcerisCics of building structure vary with
frequency, this information will allow the most accurate evaluation of thc currendy
planncd structure, and potential modifieations. Measuremenc o~ bus noise for idle and
acceleration would be made in octave ban~s from 31.5 Hz to 8000 I~z.
~"
97136P
6746 S.W. 13th Avenue, Pordend, Oregon 97219 16031 245-1680 Faa: 245-1743
Z0 3Jdd EbLT9bZEeS Z~~LZ L66I/LZILB
