He suggested that team members solicit tenants. T ere was discussion <br />~ around the need to have information on the cost of lease space, in order to solicit ~enants. <br />, <br />Cost Estimates: There was discussion around the cost of the building, cost savin s, and the need to <br />determine the guazanteed maximum price (GMP). Curt stated that he would need two month period <br />to determine the numbers. Dan asked for a 4- 6 week time line. ! <br />Curt asked the team if they wanted the tenant improvements (ti's) priced out sepazately. Dan stated that <br />this would be beneficial for future discussions. I <br />Decision: Curt will begin determining the preliminary/not-to-exceed GMP. a.nd Randy will <br />do a walk through to determ.ine departmental design needs. Curt and an will get meet <br />to determine the level of design. <br />Choose a lender for the COPs and private loan: 10/15 - 11/15 <br />Start funding application process to receive loan approval for construction in t~e spring: 10/15 - <br />5/15/97 <br />Relocate and negotiate with the 6 business owners and 12 residential apartme~t dweller: 12/1 - <br />5/30/97 - Dan stated that he cannot begin until the county owns the property. , <br />Start removal of county's office equipmeat to be salvaged from building: 3/1/9~' - Randy asked if <br />~ the boiler in the courthouse could be used for the new structure by way of a utili corridor and the <br />possibility of tax credits. Dan asked that the possibility of recycling timbers and ot~er materials from <br />the existing structures be examined. i <br />No decision made at this time.
