own crew to move and reassemble the modular units. Tom complimented all Marion County staff on
their willingness to get in and help themselves with the move. They had great attitudes and perspective
~ of making everything work. County employees on all levels were pleasant as possible and having fun! !
Randy commended a11 employees on their efforts put forth in the moving process.
Microwave Tower:
Elyn reported that she obtained Mr. Wyant's signature on the permit for the microwave tower. Craig had
reported that there might be a potential support problem with the tower. It may need to add additional
supports. There is clurenfly one on the roof and two in the planters. This should not be a problem to
solve.
Partitions for Annea:
Dan reported that the all intemal partitions have been utilized. If anyone has a need for additional
partitions, they will need to acquire more. Partitions for maikoom area and perimeter of conference
room in warehouse have been included. The Housing Authority is willing to try this arrangement
(warehouse conference room) to see how it works out. We have another option if it doesn't. Mr. Wyant
has space available at 45-50 cents a square foot next door, if the warehouse conference room is not
workable due to noise, etc.
Richard had a e-mail request for the front area to chauge from the 4-5 foot partidons to an 8 foot to la~ock
down noise in housing waiting area. His reply was that 8 ft were not code to my understanding. Dan
responded that we can use 81" to create corridors. The paztitions will have minimal impact on noise -
more sight and design control than noise control. 95% partitions are in place.
Elyn has done walk-throughs each day this week getting feedback from the move. Any items that come
up during this process, I will put in an e-mail for work orders to have them handled. We can then do a
~ follow-up check in two weeks to see if they have been sorted out and corrected and respond to those that
still need attention. Richard was out at the annex over the weekend and felt everything so far was very
positive.
Vending machines: -
Elyn will be sending an e-mail regarding the need for electrical installations in break room. Ctiurently we
have scheduled for Pepsi, Coke, juice and snack machines. Also we will be requesting GS cabinets
and shelf in the storage room be loaned and moved to the annex to be put on wall in kitchen for added
storage. C~urenfly there are only 2 cabinets under sink not enough storage to accommodate employees.
ACTION: Elyn to put in work order for electrical & moving cabinets to annex.
Mail Service to Annea:
Richard had discovered a problem with the address that Planning had given for Liberty House &
Neighbor to Neighbor as: 4125 Devonshire. This is an address for an apartment behind the annex
building. 4105 Devonslure is the correct address. The sign has already been done with the wrong
address. Discussion was held as to who should cover costs of this eiror. Neighbor to Neighbor orders
their own stationery. Liberty House only had one set of cards made and they will be redone.
ACTION: Elyn will get tlus informadon to Sue McCracken and Statesman Journal. Dan will check on
re-making of the sign.
Richard reported that with postal changes going into effect in July, there will be some changes in postal
delivery to County buildings. There will be an approximate $450 year cost for the post office to set up a
drap box for County mail because of our different locations. This will enable them to pull County mail
~ and put into central location so our mailroom can then be the dispensing unit. There really is no other
