PGE will shut down power to that side of block with exception of the Chevron <br />site. Discussion was held about the aeration system on the Chevron site being shut down <br />and removed. A letter has been sent to this effect. It is possible that Kathleen at <br />Centurywest may have more up-to-date information on this phase. PGE will also be <br />shutting down power tomorrow to replace a leaky transformer in this area. <br />CLOSE OF ESCROW ON SENATOR BLOCK <br />On Tuesday, the 2'7'h, Salem City Council will be voting on the ordinance for the <br />vacation of alley. With this closing we will be receiving over $1 million in funding from <br />Transit. This will help with cash flow in the upcoming months. We will be looking at <br />payments to Precision for their final billing, progress payments to Staton Construction, <br />and continued payments to Centurywest. <br />ACTION: Peggy will obtain copy of signed ordinance from the City and get to Sandy <br />Murphy, escrow officer with instructions to proceed with the closing as soon as possible. <br />Elyn will check on cashflow position to determine what needs to be done in the next 30 <br />days to cover until the Transit funds become available. <br />~, OTHER ISSUES <br />Within the ne~ 30 days we should have project manager on board, which should relieve <br />some of the burden from Randy. The project should move smoothly through the <br />demolition stage. Bob will coordinate these efforts. The Annex is settling down. Bills <br />for the project will be paid. The biggest jobs coming up will be bringing in the project <br />manager, and negotiating the contracts with the general contractor and the architect and <br />the settlement with Dan Berrey. Mike Hanson will be handling these contract <br />negotiations. We expect that Dan will honor all signed contracts we cunently have with <br />him and we do not expect any problems in our working relationship with him on these <br />areas at this point. <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />~ Page 3 of 3 <br />
