NIl~IDC, after conversations
with the financing folks, will assume responsibility for running the financial models. They have
the software and the knowledge of all the pieces to make it come together and work hand in
hand with the building design. Additional discussion followed regarding costs in Salem vs.
Portland and identifying true costs for each entity. County is comfortable with MI~IDC running
the financial models and having Scott review them. NIlVIDC also received copies of earlier
models that Dan Berrey ran on the project when they came on board.
Discussions about rental rate increases occuned, but until the basic building is figured to see
where we are at, no decisions can be made in this area. Interest rates have been very good right
~ now and the hope is that they stay where they are for a while.
The meeting was adjourned to work on the building design and proforma at the architect's
office.
