05i28i97 11~33 a 503 245 8894 CHASC CONSULTANT P.04 <br />9~WORK PRAGTICES PROGRAM WHICH INCUDES PPE HOU EKE~PfNG AND <br />HY I E PRACTICES <br />Per onal Protective E ui ment~ Because of the lack of visit~le dust, no special <br />disposable work clothing will be provided, Half-face respirators using HEPA fifter <br />cartridges will be supplled and required to be used until such time as a negative <br />employae sxposure assessment is available. <br />~f~iene Facilities and Practices: (Ref. 1926.62(I)} The following hygiene <br />facilities will be provided and the following practicas wi~l be in effect. <br />No food, bsverage ar tobacGO consumption will be permitted on ~he actual <br />damolition site. <br />Eating Facilities: Due to the urban locatian of the job, it is expected that <br />employees will eat and drink either at their vehicles or at ne~rby commercial eating <br />establishments. OTHER RELEVANT INFpRMATION <br />Respiratorv Protection ProQram <br />Staton Construction has available for inspection a respiratory protection <br />program meeting the requirements of 1926.fi2(~. 7his includes qualitative fit te5ting of <br />all empioyees req~ired to wear half-face respirators. <br />f1~i edic~l Monitorina Program <br />Fpr this job Staton Construction has rnade available an initial medical <br />survefllance including baseline blood lead levels to alf employees who may be <br />occupationally exposed to lead.
