5.4 Hazardous Materials Removal <br />No hazardous materials were reported or observed by Staton Construction personnel during <br />demolition. <br />6.0 CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR REVIEW <br />Century West reviewed contractor and subcontractor performance including adherence to the <br />demolition schedule. Century West provided status reports as necessary to Marion County <br />personnel. <br />6.1 Contractor/Subcontractor Performance <br />Daily and weekly meetings were held to review contractor and subcontractor performance <br />throughout the project. Staton Construction performed all work in a satisfactory manner. One <br />exception in the work was noted and remedied regarding sewer lateral abandonment. <br />6.2 Schedule Adherence <br />Schedule reviews occurred on a weekly basis during the demolition process. The schedule was <br />adhered to by Staton Construction in a satisfactory manner throughout the project. <br />Beri Building <br />The Beri Building was demolished during the week of June 15, 1997. Staton Construction <br />salvaged many of the bricks from the Beri Building and stockpiled them onsite for subsequent <br />salvage by the public. Staton Construction also removed three large timbers from the building for <br />salvage sale.
