B. Three of the large timbers from the Beri building were removed in good condition. One <br />was rotten, with approximately half of it being salvageable. <br />C. Several of the glass doors from the site may be salvaged by a company developing bullet <br />proof films for glass for development and demonstration. <br />3. Staton Construction will bill Marion County for 100% of Community Development and Beri <br />buildings on Monday. Marion County agrees to reimburse Staton for extra permits that were <br />required for demolition. Staton agrees to provide Marion County for a work order detailing these <br />fees. <br />4. Tim Daley of City of Salem informed Mike Staton that Staton is required to cap sewer lines before <br />demolition. Bill Annen said that he would pass Tim's name on to Tom Gainer to resolve the issue <br />and to coordinate regarding dewatering issues. <br />Coordinate with Bob McCuen with Marion County regarding appliances remaining in the Beri <br />building. <br />6. Site security is an issue. Someone brought a pickup into the site on Sunday (which must have <br />required a key) and removed a load of bricks. There should be no entry into the site without <br />coordination with Staton. David Hartwig said he would check with Marion County personnel to <br />ensure that they are aware of proper protocol for entering the site. <br />7. Next week will be a very active week for dewatering. Expect GRI and CWEC to be onsite mid- <br />~~ next week to install a 60 ft. test well, conduct a 24 hour pump test, and possibly install two frac- <br />tanks. <br />8. Lead air monitoring for the Community Development and Beri buildings has yielded gcod results. <br />TWA samples are well under OSHA action levels and permissible exposure limits. Additionally, <br />TCLP bulk sample analysis for both buildings yielded concentrations below regulatory limits. <br />Century West Engineering appreciates the opportunity to provide this information to you.
