Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Participating with community partners and government agencies to ensure service collaboration <br />> <br />and awareness. <br />Supervises Clinical Supervisor 2 staff <br />> <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Oversees operations and services within assigned program area(s) and is responsible for service <br />development; service delivery; compliance; productivity expectations; coordination with other <br />health department function; and quality improvement management. <br />2.Oversee and provide day-to-day clinical services and oversee clinical supervisors within the <br />assigned treatment area(s). <br />3.Determines and implements service design, treatment methods and staff assignments. <br />4.Recommends rules, policies, procedures, goals and priorities to respond to division needs and to <br />improve the effectiveness of program areas and operations. <br />5.Responsible for financial and compliance management, including budget development; revenue <br />and expenditure monitoring; unit cost of service; client fees determination; contracts/grants <br />compliance; services reports; developing proposals; contract monitoring. <br />6.Provides performance management, including recruitment and hiring; new employee orientation <br />and training; performance evaluations; staff development; supervision; discipline; purchasing; risk <br />management/employee safety; and co-worker feedback. <br />7.Facilitates staff development efforts; promotes respect; cultural competency; positive work <br />environment; healthy conflict resolution and supports cooperative relationships within the program, <br />department, county, and community. <br />8.Participates in state and local organizations and committees/task forces to promote and coordinate <br />services; serves as a liaison between service area, other government agencies, community <br />groups, and clientele. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Possession of a master's degree in a specific, professional field related to the position, and four (4) <br />years of responsible, professional experience in the field related to the position, including two (2) <br />years in a supervisory capacity; OR <br />2.Possession of a bachelor's degree in a specific, professional field related to the position and six (6) <br />years of responsible, professional experience in the field related to the position, including two (2) <br />years in a supervisory capacity; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Some positions in this class may require the possession of specific licenses, certifications, or <br />> <br />registration (e.g. CADC, QMHA and/or QMHP). <br />Must pass a criminal history background investigation; however, conviction of a crime may not <br />> <br />necessarily disqualify an individual for this classification. <br />Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon driver's license.
