Workmanship <br /> The power supply to the new control panel will need to be a minimum 60A,240V,single-phase circuit <br /> (L1,L2,N,G)for the pumps and blower, and a minimum 20A, 120V,single-phase circuit(L1,N,G)for <br /> the controls and panel heater.A subpanel/breaker box may need to be mounted adjacent to the control <br /> panel to provide a means of disconnect.The Installer will need to coordinate with the facility to identify <br /> the power supply for the panel.The pump and control systems and related appurtenances shall be installed <br /> in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions,the approved plans,and all appropriate electrical <br /> codes.Placement,assembly,and installation shall be conducted to facilitate easy operation,maintenance, <br /> repair,removal and replacement.All components shall be clearly marked in a permanent and professional <br /> manner,consistent with the design,to facilitate identification,monitoring,and troubleshooting.The <br /> Installer shall retain a licensed electrician to extend the power supply to the control panel and will be <br /> responsible for obtaining the necessary electrical permits and inspections.Copies of all permits,inspection <br /> reports,panel diagrams,and drawings of any approved"as built"changes shall be provided to the <br /> Inspector by the Installer. <br /> 5_6 Subsurface Soil Absorption System -Standard Trenches <br /> Materials <br /> • Drain Media—Clean, washed, round rock meeting the criteria in OAR 340-071-0100(53) with a <br /> preference for uniformity biased toward the smaller end of the acceptable range(3/4-inch size)shall <br /> be durable and free of excess fines,or EZflow—Model 1202H-Geo. <br /> • Filter Fabric — Meeting the criteria in OAR 340-073-0041 to cover the drain media from one <br /> sidewall to the other and from the beginning to the end of each trench. <br /> • Standard Effluent Distribution Piping and Fittings-See Materials section under Piping and <br /> Plumbing. <br /> • Distribution Boxes—Manufactured as outlined in OAR 340-73-0035 and installed with tight pipe <br /> connections to minimize root intrusion and effluent exfiltration. <br /> Workmanship <br /> The Installer shall stake out the effluent distribution system and the routing of all related components prior <br /> ± . to initiating construction.Any obstacles,non-conforming grades,or other factors that would prohibit <br /> installation or modify locations shall be flagged for review with the Designer.Any modifications will <br /> require approval by the Designer.Drawings of any approved"as built"changes noting pertinent <br /> dimensions,reference points,and elevations shall be provided to the Inspector by the Installer. <br /> The bottom of each drainfield trench and the distribution piping shall be level within a tolerance of plus or <br /> minus one inch from the point of beginning(point where the distribution header is connected to the <br /> distribution box).Total trench depth shall be within the minimum and maximum limits shown on the <br /> approved plans.Raking of the bottom and sidewalls of the trenches may be necessary to remove smearing <br /> created during excavation.Roots greater than'/2-inch in diameter shall be cut at the edge of the excavation <br /> and removed. <br /> The drain media or EZ flow shall be placed in the trenches in a manner that minimizes compaction, <br /> disturbance, and sloughing of sidewall soils or spoils.The top surface of the drain rock shall be level. <br /> Drain media shall be covered with filter fabric prior to inspection.Monitoring ports shall be installed as <br /> shown on the plans. <br /> CES-Albany,OR St.Innocent Winery and Tasting Room I P&S <br /> Doc:2018240028 St.Innocent Winery Plans&Specs May 2018 I Page 6 <br />
